Engine Assurance Program (EAP) adds the Pratt & Whitney Canada PW535E/E1 and the Rolls-Royce Tay 611-8C to its hourly engine maintenance program
Dallas, Texas / March 31, 2026 – Operators of Phenom 300/300E and Gulfstream 450 aircraft now can enroll their engines and APUs with EAP.
EAP, the Dallas-based provider of hourly engine maintenance programs, is marking its tenth year by adding engines to its coverage. The PW535E/E1, which powers the Phenom 300/300E, and the Rolls-Royce Tay 611-8C, which powers the Gulfstream 450, are the latest additions to the program.
“When EAP began 10 years ago, it covered several variants of the TFE731. Today, we cover all variants of the TFE731 plus numerous General Electric, Pratt & Whitney Canada, Honeywell and Rolls-Royce engines,” said Sean Lynch, EAP managing director. “In fact, we just celebrated the 350th engine/APU enrollment to our program due to the ongoing expansion of our coverage.”
EAP also is known for its responsive service, robust rental engine pool and significant spare parts inventory.
“EAP clients also benefit from access to the RAPID TEAM,” Lynch adds. “Our commitment to rapid AOG response sets us apart. Technicians are dispatched—to the greatest extent possible—already equipped with the known needed parts. This proactive approach enables operators to return to flight faster.”
In the traditional model of AOG support, technicians are dispatched to assess the situation, which often leads to them ordering parts and then returning a second time to install them. EAP does its best to ensure the technicians have what they need on the first visit, accelerating the aircraft’s return to service.
Also, thanks to the wide variety of engines covered by EAP, fleet operators may now need only one vendor to support all their engine coverage needs. “With EAP, you may only need one program for your engine coverage needs versus dealing with multiple different OEM programs. That saves customers time and effort,” adds Lynch. “By not being affiliated with an OEM, we’re agnostic. We can be your single resource for all your engines and APUs.”
EAP also has built a team of nationally-recognized engine experts. By owning parts and rental engines/APUs, EAP is able to better manage supply chain issues plaguing the industry and provide proactive customer service and enhanced dispatch reliability. EAP customers have a 99.98 percent dispatch reliability rate.
