Engine Assurance Program (EAP) names Chuck Oberfield director of APUs

Dallas, Texas / June 4, 2026 – Engine Assurance Program (EAP) has named Chuck Oberfield director of APUs, adding a veteran industry professional whose experience strengthens the company’s ability to support operators with expert APU coverage and service.

Chuck Oberfield brings a formidable 40-year track record in aviation maintenance and OEM sales leadership to the role. He spent 30 years at Honeywell Aerospace, including 19 years as a senior sales manager specializing in APU MSP programs, where he developed deep expertise in maintenance service programs, customer support and the evolving needs of business aviation operators.

 

A U.S. Navy veteran and licensed A&P mechanic, Chuck built his career on hands-on technical experience and a strong commitment to supporting operators with transparency and the high level of service they deserve. He also holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in Business Management, combining technical roots with business insight to help guide EAP’s expanding APU support offerings.
