Engine Assurance Program celebrates 10 years of service, support and growth
Las Vegas, Nevada / October 19, 2026 – Engine Assurance Program (EAP) is celebrating its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of continuous growth driven by its innovation, investment and expertise.
Founded in 2016 to provide a high-quality alternative to traditional hourly engine maintenance programs, EAP now covers 34 different models of General Electric, Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney Canada and Rolls-Royce engines and APUs. Hundreds of engines and APUs have been enrolled in the program.
EAP was created to help fill a need in the marketplace when operators require responsive, independent support for engines and APUs. The company maintains a multi-million-dollar parts inventory and has achieved a 99.98% dispatch reliability rate, helping customers protect their schedules as well as their engines and APUs.
“Over the past 10 years, we have provided TFE731 rental engines 100 percent of the time, including during MPIs. We also have an excellent track record for quick turns on engine LRUs, which commonly fail and are not always readily available. This is why EAP keeps them in stock,” said Sean Lynch, EAP managing director.
The company also has assembled a team of recognized industry experts, including Chuck Oberfield and Joe Vitulli who came out of retirement because their focus on the customer experience aligns with EAP’s culture of putting the customers first. For customers, that means expert assistance is only a phone call away.
Joe joined EAP as northeast sales director, bringing a reputation as a customer advocate who prioritizes the safe and efficient return of aircraft to service. He brings an exceptional track record to EAP, having led sales in the northeast for Honeywell Aerospace before retiring after a distinguished 39-year career.
Chuck, EAP’s director of APUs, brings 40 years of aviation experience to the company, including three decades with Honeywell Aerospace with 19 years focused on APU maintenance service programs. His background helps EAP deliver knowledgeable, responsive service to business aviation operators.
“EAP is more than a program; it’s a partner,” adds Sean. “We have stayed true to the principles on which EAP was founded: listen to operators, respond when they need us and provide straightforward support backed by people who understand their engines, their APUs and their operations. That commitment has fueled our growth and continues to guide every decision we make.”
Recent additions to EAP’s offerings include increased APU support and RAPID TEAM response for AOG situations and scheduled engine maintenance events. Because EAP is an independent engine program, it may be able to support an operator’s complete engine and APU coverage needs across multiple manufacturers—simplifying coverage, service coordination and vendor management for a flight department.
